Dr. Andrew Sulatycki is a Chiropractor, Clinical Acupuncturist, Kinesiologist and Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine. Since graduating from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2004 he has practiced in the Markham and Richmond Hill areas, working predominantly in sport rehabilitation clinics. Dr. Sulatycki incorporates the latest evidenced based rehabilitative exercises and soft tissue techniques into all of his treatments. He believes that educating patients is a vital component to maintaining health and wellness. His goal is to get you functioning optimally!
For Dr. Sulatycki becoming involved with sports medicine was a natural progression from his years as a competitive volleyball player. He started playing club volleyball in 1986 and has been at it ever since. A former Ontario provincial team player, he was a 5 year starter on the Men's Varsity Volleyball team at York University. In 1999 he played professionally in Slovenia’s premiere division. He is currently a member of the Toronto Ruffriders, the 2010 Ontario Volleyball League’s Men’s Open Champions..
Through his experiences and injuries as an athlete he has gained a unique insight into the rehabilitation process. Having seen numerous diverse healthcare practitioners, he realized that he wanted to be involved in the process of helping injured people return to a healthy state. Studying Kinesiology and then becoming a Chiropractor allowed him to achieve this goal. During his education he studied rehabilitation, fitness assessment, and sports training methodology; maintaining a specific focus on anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics. A lifelong learner he is frequently taking courses and seminars to further enhance his knowledge of the human body and its workings. He continues to expand and refine his clinical skill set in order to provide the best care possible for his patients.
